The Yale Forest School recently hosted a webinar series on “The Future of Forest Products in a Changing Climate: Bioenergy from Forests.”

Held on Tuesdays from January 25 to April 26, the webinars covered management issues affecting a range of products from pellets to structural timber. These insightful webinars looked at the tradeoffs involved in different uses of the renewable forest resources, the role that bioenergy can play in achieving emissions reductions, as well as implications & concerns for the environmental, economic and societal sectors. We found an especially interesting one to be the final panel that including Phil Rigdon who manages forests and salmon restoration for the Yakama Nation.
